  3. 3. DECLARATIVE SENTENCE declarative sentence makes a statement, they end in periods. The dog is running.
  4. 4. INTERROGATIVE SENTENCE n interrogative sentence asks a question, these sentences end with question marks. Have you taken the dog for a walk?
  5. 5. IMPERATIVE SENTENCE n imperative sentence gives a command, they end with periods. Feed the dog.
  6. 6. EXCLAMATORY SENTENCE n exclamatory sentence expresses strong emotion, the usually end with exclamation points. The dog is missing!
