Write a New Article  From your profile page click on “Write an article”  Choose a catchy title, help people find you in search  Add a photo, video or slide show  Treat like a text document and use original content, don’t just copy and paste from other sites  Add a subject and “Tags” (descriptive keywords) 3
  4. 4. Add Photos or Video  Embed YouTube or any other embeddable content by copying and pasting the Embed link directly into the “Add a video/media” box in your article.  Simply add a photo instead of other media by clicking on “Add Files” and uploading photos from your computer 4
  5. 5. Manage Articles  Saved articles will show up under the Manage Articles tab and will show Pending “Status”  From here you can preview, edit or delete pending and active articles by clicking the blue links, it’s easy!
  6. 6. What’s Next?  The Community can comment and respond to your article  Your readers can share your article with their friends via email and other social networks 6
  7. 7. Why Post?  Articles with photos or media show up all across the site (even the home page) and drive traffic to your profile. 7

  10. 10. Ideas For Getting Started  Be creative. Brainstorm and then start writing. Here are some sample topics: – Tell us why you started teaching – Write a how-to about something you love – Post a video demonstrating your technique – Introduce a subject that you teach – Tell us about your favorite learning experience – Voice your perspective on a topic or issue 10
