Create private & public lists All lists that appear on someone’s profile page are PUBLIC lists LISTS are used for three different purposes and can either be PUBLIC or PRIVATE the first purpose is to PRIVATELY classify twitter accounts into different categories (as if you would put them into “folders”), to filter out their note that it is not tweets in a timeline necessary to follow a a PRIVATE list only can twitter account to be able be viewed by yourself to classify it into a list (does NOT appear on your profile page)miércoles 17 de octubre de 2012
  28. 28. the second purpose is to classify twitter accounts into different categories, but in a PUBLIC way again: note that it is not necessary to follow a twitter account to be able to classify it into a list if someone adds you to a PUBLIC list they created, you will be able to view this through the “Member of” tabmiércoles 17 de octubre de 2012
