celebrate 35 years of saving peoples’ lives. For
the 2023 Summit we will have a Jimmy Buffet
cover band, delicious hors d’oeuvres, and drinks
while we greet new and familiar faces. Of course,
the Summit Reception is free to attendees and
guests.
The Margaritaville Lake Resort is located outside
of Houston, TX in Montgomery Texas. If you are
flying to the Summit, make sure to land at the
George Bush Intercontinental Airport.
Commuting From Airport to Resort:
Once in Houston, you will either need to rent a car,
take a taxi/Uber, or hire a transportation service to
get you to the Margaritaville Lake Resort.

For our 2023 Summit, System Improvements will
be utilizing Whova for our Pre-Summit and Summit.
Make sure you download the App before attending
the Summit to make changes to your schedule,
learn about the resort, meet our instructors, connect
with other attendees, and more! The best benefit
the Whova app has to offer is access to sessions
after the Summit is over. Is there a session you
wanted to attend but couldn’t? No worries, all
recorded sessions will be available to view until
three months after the Summit is over. Email Anne

CERTIFIED INSTRUCTORS
CEU & ABIH
You’ll receive 2 CEUs for attending the Summit, and
1.6 CEUs for attending our Pre-Summit courses
(please check with us to see if your course has
CEUs). CM credits may be obtained through ABIH
by submitting your attendance to the appropriate
organization.
To maintain your status as a Certified TapRooT®
Instructor, you must attend a 2-Day Pre-Summit
course and the Summit every two years. Register
for the Certified Instructor Track and attend the
TapRooT® Recertification session on Friday
morning to receive the latest 2-Day materials.
This year at the Summit, TapRooT® will be hosting
a two-day treasure hunt! Attendees will need to
download the free app “Our Treasure Hunt” to
participate in this activity. Our Treasure hunt is
available on iPhone and Android devices.
On Wednesday and Thursday, clues will be released
through the app for our attendees to solve. Some of
the clues are TapRooT® trivia, and others are riddles
you must solve to find a painted rock located on the
Margaritaville Resort. Participate in bonus activities
to win more points. The team or individual with the
most points will receive a trophy for bragging rights
and a prize! The winner will be announced Friday
before our final Keynote speaker. Must be present to
win.
