Students will learnabout the role of sport in the American culture of the past andpresent and discuss their own experience and ideas related to thetopic.Specific Objectives: Students will use a range of vocabulary itemsrelated to description of painting, different kinds of sports andpastimes. They will use the information from the text to penetrateinto the cultural background of the work of art and will writecreative stories using the new vocabulary and will watch a videoclip prompting a discussion.Materials/ Visual Aids: Projector, computer (to present the PowerPoint Presentation assisting the lesson); internet access to watch aYoutube video online, interactive whiteboard to project images onthe screen, paper, pens/pencils.http://picturing.lingvograd.ru/
