    27. 27. Resources and Energy• There is a lot of stuff out there, a lot of good stuff. Therefore a lot of $$$$$!• Water, iron, nickel, helium 3, literally everything we could ever want (besides food).• The energy in the universe is virtually limitless. We could never use all of it. Solar energy and chemicals to produce energy.
    28. 28. Spin-off Technology• Water Purification• LEDs• Artificial Limbs• Freeze Dried Foods• Solar Energy• invisible braces
    29. 29. Exploration• Exploration has given us everything we as a culture have today. Our prosperity, food, information and innovation.• Exploration of the Universe will give us everything we need to survive for a much longer time as a species, not only that but it is really damn cool.
    30. 30. Today’s Space Exploration• Who is doing it• What are they doing• Where are they going• This isn’t 1960, a lot more nations robots, and people are traveling through space.
    31. 31. China• As a communist Nation the world snubbed it. Not allowing it’s astronauts on the space station. Nor does the US even cooperate with China often.• It is the 3rd nation to ever launch a human into space.
    32. 32. Tiangong 1• A space labratory created by the Chinese.• Testing docking capabilities for a future planned space station.
    33. 33. Shenzhou 8• Both a manned and unmanned spacecraft.• First Chinese spacecraft to dock with A Chinese Labratory, Tiangong 1.• Tiangong 1 and Shenzhou 8 successfully docked on November 2 2011.• Plans for manned mission starts next year. China will open its Space Station to all, or so they say.
    34. 34. China’s Space Exploration Future• China plans to have it’s own space station slated to be operational between 2016 to 2020. Around the time the ISS goes into retirement.• They plan on having a moonwalk around 2025.
    35. 35. Russia• Russia is 1 of the 2 main partners in the ISS (International Space Station).• It recently sent a failed probe to Mars.• Conducted a major experiment for a long mission to mars.• Currently fairies NASA Astronauts to the ISS.
