  4. 4. Introduction• Resurrection is a DRAMATIC event. – Lazarus was dead. Now he is alive again! – It is safe to say that nothing like this ever happened to Lazarus before or after that day! – Jesus’ divine, miraculous power changed Lazarus’ life forever.• A resurrected life causes dramatic REACTIONS.

  11. 11. Would you rather…?• Opposition or attraction? Attraction. obviously, but that is not always the response Discipleship is a commitment to follow without fear of the temporary costs.

  13. 13. Living a resurrected life• You will draw A CROWD (12:9)• Therefore, you will be IDENTIFIED with Christ (12:9)• Therefore, you will be HATED, harassed, and hunted by some (12:10)• You will draw MANY TO FAITH (12:11)
  14. 14. Conclusion:• Prepare daily in PRIVATE for living your resurrected life PUBLICLY. (11:54)• Expect, even pray for, A REPSONSE. A resurrected life causes dramatic REACTIONS.
