2. National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) is a non-profit Public Private Participation
(PPP) body set up by the Finance Ministry of Indian Government to spread out their “Skill
Development Projects” throughout the country. NSDC is aimed at the promotion of the skill
development by funding for-profit vocational institutes so as to meet the growing need of
Indian IT Sector. For achieving their aim, NSDC is contacting with the top level officials of the
top companies of India like TATA, Reliance, Bharti Airtel, Future Group and several others.
As per this project, the NSDC has to provide skill development program to around 500
million people by 2022. To achieve this target, NSDC is collaborating with the different
training institutes and making huge investment with them.

4. NSDC has introduced this program named as “Star Scheme” which is an initiative to the boost
the employability and productivity of the youth by providing them monetary incentives to
voluntarily join an approved skill development course. On completing this training, NSDC will
provide a certificate of successfully completing “National Level Skill Qualification Assessment
Training Program” signed by NSDC, Government of India.
Eligibility for the TestCandidates from any discipline (B.Tech, MBA etc.) are eligible to appear in this test. The
eligibility criteria for taking this test is as follows1- Candidate needs to be qualified at least their Intermediate or 10+2 level Exam.
2- Candidate must have a UID (Unique Identification Number)
3- Candidate must be of 18 years or more.
4- The candidate must be an Indian Citizen.
Note: We will help candidates with no UID in getting a new UID.
Registration FeesInterested candidates have to pay an amount of Rs. 1650 as the Test Registration Fees which
will be conducted by the NSDC. The amount of registration fees is taken by the NSDC. This
amount taken as Registration fees will be refunded in case the candidate will not get a job even
after clearing the test.
Test ProcedureA Test will be conducted by the NSDC. There will be two slots1- For IT Sector:
The candidates have to give an Online Test and then an interview to complete
the process.
2- For Retail Sector:
The candidates of this sector have to give only an Online Test.
The candidates qualifying the respective slots will be given stipend up to Rs. 10000 and also an
Online or Offline Training will be provided after which they will be send for interviews in one
of the top companies like Tata, Reliance, Bharti Airtel and Future Group and others top
companies for getting a job. The registration fees initially collected will also get returned to the
candidate clearing the Test.

5. Students qualifying the Test will be provided with a certificate of successfully completing
“National Level Skill Qualification Assessment Training Program” signed by NSDC,
Government of India whose format will be as follows-
