20. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
IMPORTANT: Read the instructions carefully before using your pushchair and
keep safe for future reference. Your childs safety could be put at risk if you
do not follow the instructions. WARNING! It may be dangerous to leave your
child unattended. IMPORTANT: Cam Il Mondo Del Bambino S.p.A reserve the
right to alter or modify any product for technical or commercial reasons
without prior notice. IMPORTANT: Only use the product for the purpose that
it was designed for. Should the product be used for any other purpose the
manufacturer declines all responsibilty. Never use replacement parts other
than those supplied or approved by Cam Il Mondo Del Bambino, as this could
cause damage to your pushchair and make it unsafe. This pushchair is
designed for one child only. Never carry more than one child on the
pushchair. This product has been designed for children from birth to 15 kgs
of weight. WARNING! Do not use the seat unit of the pushchair with children
younger than 6 months WARNING! Never use a mattress thicker than 20 mm
in the carrycot (optional). WARNING! Use the safety harness and the crotch
strap when your child can sit alone. WARNING! Always use the crotch strap
in combination with the waist belt. WARNING! Make sure that all folding
mechanisms are correctly engaged before using the product. Correctly
engage the locking mechanism of the pushchair when you put in or remove
your child from the pushchair itself. This pushchair's chassis can be used
ONLY with the carrycot and the car seat approved by the manufacturer and
equipped with "QUICKY SYSTEM" mechanism. WARNING! Check that the pram
body or seat unit attachment devices are correctly engaged before use.
WARNING! Hanging bags or accessories on the handle of your stroller may
compromise the stability of the product. Do not load the shopping basket
with more than 2 kgs of weight. WARNING! This product is not suitable for
running or skating. WARNING! The rear lever plate is fitted to help
manoeuvre the pushchair up kerbs and other obstacles. Under NO
circumstances must this lever be used to stand on, or ride on by a second
child, or be loaded with any other form of weight This could cause the
pushchair to become unstable and possibly damaged.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1. HOW TO POSITION THE LINKED PUSHCHAIR HANDLE: Rotate the handle in an upward direction
whilst pressing simultaneously the two buttons marked “A” on either side of the linked handle.
2.HOW TO OPEN THE PUSHCHAIR: To open the pushchair raise lever “B” situated on the left hand
side of the pushchair in an upward direction as shown by the arrow (PART B), and then push
downwards on the central part of the rear leverage plate “S”, until it reaches the locked position.
The rear leverage plate (PART “S”) is to help you manoeuvre small obstacles and must not be used
to stand on, or ride on by a second child, or be loaded with any other form of weight as this could
cause the pushchair to become unstable and possibly damaged.
3. HOW TO CLOSE THE PUSHCHAIR: To close the pushchair raise levers “A”, and push upwards
simultaneously on the underside of the central part of the rear leverage plate “R” with the tip of
your foot, then to finalise the closure of the pushchair pull up on handle “B” in the centre back
of the chassis until it reaches the locked position. To further reduce the height of the pushchair,
push buttons “A” situated on either side of the linked handle, and rotate downwards as shown
in the diagram. By pressing buttons “A” you can also adjust the height of the linked handle to
suit the needs of the person using the pushchair.
4. SELF ALIGNING FRONT WHEELS The front wheels can be set In the fixed or swivel position. To

release the wheels push the ON pedal in the downwards position (fig 4a). To disengage the swivel
mechanism push down on the OFF pedal. The wheels will then automatically self align once
they reach the correct position.
5. REAR WHEELS WITH BRAKE To engage the linked brake push the ON pedal downwards (fig 5a)
to disengage the linked brake push the OFF pedal downwards (fig 5b). ATTENTION! Never lift
lever “ON” when you want to release the brake.
6. ADJUSTING THE BACKREST To adjust the backrest pull lever E upwards until you reach the
desired position (fig 6a). The backrest is reclinable in 4 positions. To raise the backrest simply
push upwards (fig 6b)
7. ADJUSTING THE FOOTREST To lower the footrest raise lever F (Part b)and at the same time
push downwards on the footrest (fig 7).
8. BUMPER BAR To remove the bumper bar push up on button R, situated under the armrest (fig
8a). To replace the bumper bar simply push into the armrest until locked (fig 8c).
ASSEMBLING THE 5 POINT HARNESS ON THE PUSHCHAIR
9. Assemble the 5 point harness making sure that parts “D” and “E” of the 5 point harness pass
through the locking plastic part on the back of the pushchair, as shown in fig. 9.
- FITTING THE CHEST PADS: insert buckles “A” in slot “a” (Fig.9A) and buckle “B” in slot “b” (fig. 9B).
WARNING! Buckles must pass through the fabric slot and the rigid pushchair’s backrest (fig. 9C)
so that it is correctly locked, as shown in fig. 9D.
- FITTING THE CROTCH STRAP: insert buckle “C” in slot “c” (fig. 9E). WARNING! Buckle must
pass through the fabric slot and the rigid pushchair’s seat unit (FIG. 9F) so that it is correctly
fitted (FIG. 9G).
- FITTING THE WAIST STRAP: to insert the “D” loop in the locking part “d” on the side of the
pushchair (fig. 9) it is necessary to make pass the loop through the fabric slot placed on the
bottom of the backrest (fig. 9H). Once the loop is correctly fitted, pull it and insert it in the
locking part “d”. Act in the same way for the other side of the pushchair. WARNING! Before using
the pushchair, make sure the harnesses are not twisted and that they are correctly fitted on the
pushchair.

10. To fix and release the seat unit: Apply the brakes (fig 10a) and place the seat unit on to the
chassis (fig 10b). Open out the side wings X to fix the seat unit to the chassis (fig 10c), insert the
pins Y in to position (fig 10d), making sure the pins Z are correctly inplace (fig 10e). Push the seat
unit down until you hear the click into position (fig 10f). Repeat the process on both sides.

FITTING THE CARRYCOT ONTO THE PUSHCHAIR
14. The carrycot is fitted with a quick lock/release system. Place the carrycot on the pushchair
armrests near the carrycot locking system “D” (on both sides) and on housings “E”. Push the
carrycot down until you hear a “click”. Make sure the carrycot is correctly locked.
15. Operate button "A" and then "B" on the pushchair's armrests and then lift the carrycot.

ATTENTION The carrycot is approved as a Group 0 car seat, for babies from birth to 10kgs ECE
R 44 and must be fixed to the rear seat of the car only. If your carrycot is fitted with an adjustable
backrest this must be lowered to the lie flat position. Never place any objects on the rear of the
back seat,as this could endanger your child when the brakes are applied. DO NOT make any
alterations. In case of alterations the manufacturer declines all responsibilty. NEVER LEAVE YOUR
CHILD UNATTENDED, even for the shortest time. Inform all passengers on how to free the baby
incase of an accident or danger.
The carrycot must be replaced in case of an accident. Be careful not to trap the belts in the doors
or tension mechanisms of the car. The carrycot must be securely fixed in the car at all times even
when the child is not travelling. Should any problems occur please contact the manufacturer.
Prolonged exposure to sunlight may cause colours to fade and plastctics to soften. Dry all metal
parts after exposure to rain to prevent thr formation of rust. Any fabrics that are washable will
be clearly marked, and must be hand washed at maximum 30°, then left to dry on a flat surface
away from direct sunlight.
ONLY USE THE CARRYCOT IN CARS FITTED WITH A STATIC THREE POINT SAFETY BELT OR WITH
HOMOLAGATED RETRACTING SEAT BELTS AS STATED IN ECE N°16. WHEN USING THE CARRYCOT
IN YOUR CAR ALWAYS REMEMBER TO INSERT THE IMPACT ABSORBERS (POLYSTYRENE) INSIDE THE
CARRYCOT, AS THEY ARE FUNDAMENTAL FOR THE RESTRAINT SYSTEM. ALWAYS SECURE THE
CHILD WITH THE SAEFTY BELTS PROVIDED EVERY TIME THEY TRAVEL.
HOW TO FIT THE GROUP 0+ CAR SEAT TO THE PUSHCHAIR CHASSIS
28. Insert the pins on the car seat brackets into the slots on the armrests of the pushchair (fig 28).
29. HOW TO REMOVE THE CAR SEAT FROM THE PUSHCHAIR CHASSIS. Press and release button
A, then press and hold down button B at the same time as removing the car seat from the
chassis. IMPORTANT: ALWAYS USE THE BUMPER BAR. IMPORTANT During the babies first few
months it is also possible to fit the carrycot or car seat whilst the pushchair seat unit is attached
(SEE 29A). To fit the carrycot or car seat by means of the Quicky System simply lower the
backrest and unbutton the armrest covers. Proceed as previously illustrated.
WINTER VERSION
30. Carrycot’s apron can be used as footmuff on the pushchair (optional). Pls use as explained
in the figure.

MAINTENANCE
38. Improper use of this pushchair, on particularly dusty or dirty terrain may cause a malfunction
with in the product, (opening and folding of the chassis, may not be as fluid, the front swivel
wheel system may not be easily manoeuvrable...) It will be necessary to clean with a damp cloth,
then dry thoroughly, and finally spray all working parts with a silicone spray. Pay particular
attention to the parts highlighted in figures a, b, & c.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight may cause colours to fade
and plastics to soften and distort. Immediately after exposure to wet weather leave open and dry
with a cloth to prevent the formation of rust.Washable fabrics are indicated and must be washed
at a maximum 30°, then left to dry on a flat surface away from direct sunlight.
WARNING: NEVER use replacement parts other than those approved or supplied by the The
manufacturer.
OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES The presense of the raincover, adjustable backrest and Auto kit will
depend on the specific product purchased.
