Smoking connotes that the model has ill regard for his health.- May be using cigarettes as a tool to look more attractive to peers and readers.- It displays a bad attitude- respected by rap/hip hop lovers. Led to believe that he may be unemployed, as he has little respect for the presentation of his attire.- He is not looking at the camera, which connotes a lack of respect and a tone of arrogance. He is not wearing make up to enhance the image, the lighting is natural.

THE COLOUR SCHEME OF HER ATTIRE (THUS BEING BLACK, RED, GREY AND WHITE) IS AIMED TO CONNOTE POWER AND DOMINANCE. THE COLOURS ARE BOLD, AND FREQUENTLY USED WITHIN THE RAP/HIP HOP GENRE.

OVERALL, IT DEPICTS A STEREOTYPICAL, DOMINANT REPRESENTATION OF A YOUNG, MIXED-RACE MALE WHO IS INTERESTED IN HIP HOP/RAP MUSIC, AND THE ELEMENTS THAT SURROUND IT, SUCH AS FASHION.
THE TITLE OF MY MAGAZINE... DESCRIBES THE ORIGINAL BEAT-PRODUCING MACHINE CREATED FOR USE BY RAP/HIP HOP ARTISTS. IT IS BOLD, WHITE AND I HAVE USED AN INFORMAL FONT. THE FONT IS ROUGHLY CREATED, DISPLAYS FRAYS WHERE THE COLOUR RUNS OUT OF THE LINES. IT IS DELIBERATELY INTENDED TO RESEMBLE GRAFFITI, WHICH CONNOTES INFORMALITY, AN ELEMENT OF CRIME, WHICH LEADS TO ANARCHIC MOTIVES. IT IS A STEROTYPICAL, DOMINANT REPRESENTATION OF WHAT PEOPLE (AGED BETWEEN 15 AND 24) WOULD APPRECIATE AND ASSOCIATE WITH HIP HOP/RAP.
