Wikipedia<br />Wikipedia was first launched in 2001 by Jimmy Wales and Larry Sanger, who came up with the name for the site.<br />The name Wikipedia comes from the word “wiki” (Which is Hawaiian for quick) and “pedia”, which is short for encyclopedia.<br />Wikipedia – “Quick Encyclopedia”<br />

For the largest languages (English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, and Polish) a full test and summary is also available.<br />Wikipedia is a free, web based collaborative multimedia project. It is supported by the non-profit Wikimedia Foundation.<br />It has become the largest and most popular general reference work on the internet, ranking around 7th among all websites on “Alexa” and having 365 million readers. <br />Wikipedia wasn’t made for a certain category of people. Anyone seeking information, no matter the age, sex, color, or religion is free to surf Wikipedia to find information on almost any topic. You don’t even need an account to contribute.<br />
