  2. 2. Food of the Bahamas•Their most favorite foods are crawfish,land crab, and conch.•They like to make it into chowder, stew,or even chowder.•One of their most favorite food is calledconch fritters.
  3. 3. Music of The Bahamas• Calypso: is a style of afro-Caribbean style of music spread allover the Caribbean.• Soca; is a form of dance music which had been originated frommany calypso music from the Caribbean.
  4. 4. Economic Aspect of The Bahamas•Resources; salt, aragonite, timber (forestry andconservation lands), arable land, wetlands, freshwaterresources.•Influence; they have straw weaving, quilting, and stone art.
  5. 5. The Bahamas Standard of Living• Literacy rate; 95%.• Life expectancy; 75 years.• Unemployment Rate; 13.95% in 2010.• Health care issues; Before the 1920s theydidn’t pay much attention to health care, theBritish set up a national health care servicesince 1948.
