    2. 2. • Dingoes were brought to Australia long ago by Aborigines.
    3. 3. • A dingo is a wild dog that lives in Australia.
    4. 4. • Dingoes are about the size of a golden retriever.
    5. 5. • Most have yellowish-brown fur.
    6. 6. • But some are yellowish-white to black.
    7. 7. • Dingoes do not bark much, instead they howl.
    8. 8. • Dingoes hunt alone or in family groups.
    9. 9. • They hunt and eat wallabies, which look like small kangaroos, but they also kill sheep.
    10. 10. • Today dingoes are Australia’s chief beasts of prey.
