  1. 1. FORMAT OF PROJECT REPORT (ITS675)PROPOSALThe proposal report must be prepared by strictly following the guidelines given below. Failure to followthe guidelines may mean your proposal being rejected without even being read.1. Cover Page Title; Student’s Name; Supervisor’s Name; Degree; University; Month and Year of Submission.2. Title page Title should be clear and concise -representative3. Abstract Concise and clear summary of the goals, major activities or research approach, and anticipated results of the proposed research. Should be very well-written and revised after body of proposal is completed4. Table of contents Provides an overview of structure of the proposal5. Introduction a. Research Background :Background of the problem. b. Problem statement / Research Problem :Problem description and justify the need for the project. c. Aim : Identify area of investigation and the focus of intended work. d. Objective of the research :The precise objectives to be achieved. e. Significance of research :The project benefits or contributions (eg to the academician, researchers and UiTM)6. Literature Review Discussion and critically evaluating past and current research in your area and identify gap in the literature of your field of study, which you intend to fill7. Research approach and methodology Describe the approach and methodologies used to address the problem. Expected outcomes or deliverables should be included8. Hardware and software required (optional) List any special hardware and software required to solve the problem9. Research plan Estimate the duration of your project, and identify order in which activities should be performed (using Gantt chart)10. Anticipated results and conclusion Description of expected benefits of proposed research and Re-emphasize context and value of proposed research.11. References12. Appendix
