Applications: Construction:Because of perlites outstanding insulatingcharacteristics and light weight, it is widely used as aloose-fill /wall /roof / over deck insulation . Horticultural:Perlite is used throughout the world as a component ofsoil less growing mixes where it provides aeration andoptimum moisture retention for superior plant growth.For rooting cuttings, 100% perlite is used. Studies haveshown that outstanding yields are achieved with perlitehydroponic systems.
  7. 7.  Fabrocrette is a single component fibrous copolymer admixturespecially formulated to improve the properties of cementitiouscomposition. Fabrocrette reinforced concrete/plaster consists of millions offibers uniformly distributed throughout concrete /plaster to createa one-step micro-reinforcement system.These fibers stop microcracks that can develop because of water loss and shrinkage.Thegrowth of these cracks are blocked by the fibers thus ending thecrack in the micro stage and providing higher tensile strengthcapacity , it increases the mechanical properties such as bonding(adhesion)with various building material, flexural, compression, and impact strength. Properties : Specific gravity : 1.00 pH : 8.5( 0.5 tolerance) Solid contents : 34-45(1%) Application temperature : 5-40 ‘ c Colour :White fibrous liquid

PROPERTIES OF LECA:Lightness: Lightness of LECA is for the multi-separated air spaces which exist inside and among theaggregates, density of aggregates, depending on the size of Leca (i.e 0-25 mm ), rangesfrom 400 to 800 kg/m3Sound Insulation: Leca aggregate works as an best sound /acousticsThermal Insulation: Thermal conductivity coefficient :Leca aggregate is about 0.07 to 0.10 w/mk , and for,Leca concrete it ranges from 0.12 to 0.15 w/mk.Non-decomposability: LECA aggregate strongly resists against alkaline and acidic substances and pHvalue, makes it neutral in chemical post reaction with concreteWater Absorption: For closed inside porousness, average water absorption of Leca aggregate (0-25 mm) isabout 40% percent of volume in saturated state during 48 hours.Applications and Advantages: Four usual sizes are 0-4mm, 4-10mm, 10-25mm , and 0-25mm. LECA IN CONSTRUCTION: Lightweight aggregates concrete: In all the cases which lightening and insulation should be considered in buildings, Leca lightweight aggregate ,(structural& non- structural) comparing to autoclaved aerated concretefoam concrete or concrete made of pumice or scoria has a wider range of applicability. LECA lightweight concrete block: LECA back is produced by mixing of Leca aggregates, Cement, sand and water. Using ofLeca aggregate decreases the concrete density.Advantages: Lightening up to 30% of dead load Self thermal & Sound Insulation Appropriate Behavior in Earthquake Low Module of elasticity of Leca Concrete, andhaving , cement base material as well as its mortar, in addition to the lightness, reduces thedestructive effects of earthquake on structure. Shapes of Leca blocks are designed forconducting vertical mortar in joints which minimizes the rubble threat. Referring tomentioned reasons, using of Leca blocks prevents buildings from asymmetric settlementand other detrimental side effects. Physical Operation LECA Blocks are suitable for any physical operation like cutting,nailing, transfixing and ridge extending to make proper route for wire, pipe and otherinstalling components without any cracking.
  10. 10.  AcceleratingConstruction, Saving time, Labor, and material For lightness anddifferent sizes and dimensions of Leca blocks, walling up could be done in high speedwhich ,leads to save time, labor and material. Safe for Installation Being chemically neutral, Leca aggregate and blocks , are thebest bed for buiding installation and prevent pipe and wires from decay. Leca blocksare designed in a way not to be only lightweight but cover all required.FLOORING AND ROOFING: Lightness, insulating, durability, non-decomposability,structural stability, andchemical neutrality features are collected in Leca as the best lightweight aggregatefor flooring and roofing and in the most suitable and reasonable replacement forpumice, scoria and polystyrene, moreover Leca aggregates are used to markinsulating lightweight concrete for all floors substructures under stone, marble orceramic etc.,Wasting energy is 35% through the roofs while it is 15% for the walls.LECAAGGREGATE IN AGRICULTURE: Leca prepares the best convenience bed for growth of Plants due to:Ventilating of thesoil and root, preventing soil from evaporation and saving water for sponge like bodyof aggregate, water feeding adjustment, lightness insulation, chemically neutral,environmental-friendly, cleaner than soil and no pestilential effects on soil,plants oryour hands.
  11. 11.  Nodullär aggregates are round in shape with coarse texture, off white / ivorycoloured with a cellular structure inside , are pelletized and processed resultingin light , porous , aerated modules with a tough outer shell aggregates, used forroof/heat insulation . In addition each of the Nodullär balls also acts to form of geometric barrierwhich helps to displace and irradiates heat over a larger surface area the air entrapped thus ,reduces the rate of heat transfer compared with dense, natural aggregates.Resulting the use of Nodullär in concrete improves, (i.e. reduces) the thermalconductivity.Therefore , the thermal properties of Nodullär have been usedwidely to improve thermal insulation in buildings and structures.Advantages of Nodullär: Light weight Thermal insulation due to a low conductivity coefficient Soundproofing with a high acoustical resistance Moisture impermeability Durability Fire resistance A pH of nearly 7 Reduction of construction dead loads and earthquake lateral loads

  14. 14.  Direction For Use: Application areas to be cleaned with a hard brush ,to remove alldust, weak paint, fungus etc. Cleaned area to be washed with water The surface should be moist before application Stir the paint thoroughly before each use Apply first coat with brush / spray on the cleaned and washedsurface Apply second coat after a gap of at least one hour. Ensure that thecoated area does not come in contact with water for at least onehour After coating, allow it to cure for at least 24 hours For Best Performance , Apply even number of coats #Best results are obtained when all walls and roofs are coatedwith eco#
