Applications: Construction:Because of perlites outstanding insulatingcharacteristics and light weight, it is widely used as aloose-fill /wall /roof / over deck insulation . Fabrocrette is a single component fibrous copolymer admixturespecially formulated to improve the properties of cementitiouscomposition. Fabrocrette reinforced concrete/plaster consists of millions offibers uniformly distributed throughout concrete /plaster to createa one-step micro-reinforcement system.These fibers stop microcracks that can develop because of water loss and shrinkage.Thegrowth of these cracks are blocked by the fibers thus ending thecrack in the micro stage and providing higher tensile strengthcapacity , it increases the mechanical properties such as bonding(adhesion)with various building material, flexural, compression, and impact strength. PROPERTIES OF LECA:Lightness: Lightness of LECA is for the multi-separated air spaces which exist inside and among theaggregates, density of aggregates, depending on the size of Leca (i.e 0-25 mm ), rangesfrom 400 to 800 kg/m3Sound Insulation: Leca aggregate works as an best sound /acousticsThermal Insulation: Thermal conductivity coefficient :Leca aggregate is about 0.07 to 0.10 w/mk , and for,Leca concrete it ranges from 0.12 to 0.15 w/mk.Non-decomposability: LECA aggregate strongly resists against alkaline and acidic substances and pHvalue, makes it neutral in chemical post reaction with concreteWater Absorption: For closed inside porousness, average water absorption of Leca aggregate (0-25 mm) isabout 40% percent of volume in saturated state during 48 hours.Applications and Advantages: Four usual sizes are 0-4mm, 4-10mm, 10-25mm , and 0-25mm. LECA IN CONSTRUCTION: Lightweight aggregates concrete: In all the cases which lightening and insulation should be considered in buildings, Leca lightweight aggregate ,(structural& non- structural) comparing to autoclaved aerated concretefoam concrete or concrete made of pumice or scoria has a wider range of applicability. LECA lightweight concrete block: LECA back is produced by mixing of Leca aggregates, Cement, sand and water. Direction For Use: Application areas to be cleaned with a hard brush ,to remove alldust, weak paint, fungus etc. Cleaned area to be washed with water The surface should be moist before application Stir the paint thoroughly before each use Apply first coat with brush / spray on the cleaned and washedsurface Apply second coat after a gap of at least one hour.
