I-Search Narrative Essay example
I–Search Narrative
At the tender age of two I moved from a development in the town of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania to
the vast stretches of farmland that make up the area between Mechanicsburg and the neighboring
town of Dillsburg. It was not a big move distance–wise, but it would forever change my life. If I
would have stayed where I was I would have went to a different high school, had a different set of
friends, and who knows where I would be today. While I did not know it at the time, (I was only
two, cut me some slack.) my family and I moved within earshot of one of the most prestigious dirt
tracks in the country. Each and every Friday night from early spring to late autumn thousands of
people congregate at this track surrounded...show more content...
I also know that twice each year The Outlaws come to town, and it is an incredible party. The
Outlaws are a group of the best sprint car drivers in the country that tour around to different tracks
all around the United States. Whenever they come to the Grove it is usually their only stop in the
midstate and they race against each other and the local drivers who band together into what is
known as the Pennsylvania Posse. In our local paper they usually have a write up about The
Outlaws whenever they come to town, so this is where most of my basic information comes from.
For living so close to the track I should probably know more than I do, but that's about the extent of
my knowledge.
In my quest for knowledge my first stop was pretty easy to find. I went to the Williams Grove
website because it seemed like a logical place to start my search. On this website I found a lot of
information on drivers, tickets, past grove winners and many other topics. One section of the
website that was particularly interesting to me was the page with sprint car specs on it. These specs
are what Williams Grove requires if you are going to race there so this seemed as good a place to
start as any. According to Williams Grove's website a sprint car is defined as "a racing vehicle of
single seat design, built upon a racing chassis and mounted on four racing wheels." Specifically for

Best WordPress plugins – free canatlantic blog head picture

WordPress is flexible, easy to set up a Web platform that has been downloaded over 60 million times
since its launch in 2003. The CMS content (Content Management System) has created an incredibly
rich plug–in ecosystem that gives the user the ability to improve the Search Engine Optimization of
his site, manage comments and spam, changes and increases the number of articles. WordPress is the
most represented CMS platform in projects for creating web sites.
In short, there are many ways to extend the basic functionality of your WordPress installation. At the
time of writing this article, there are about 30,000 plugins for...show more content...
One way to do this is to use comment tags. Comment tags look like this! "– Tag for comment–" The
real purpose of comment tags is that developers add reminders inside the code that explain what part
of the code works or represents. Below is an example of a well–written comment: "! –The main part
of the article–" If we wrote the keywords in our comment tag: SEO optimization, SEO, optimization
agency, etc., this would be a promotion of a hypothetical site that deals with the optimization of the
search system .
Another popular way to hide content is to use the "nonscript" tag. This tag should be used to notify
the user that the script has been used, but their browsers do not support the script language or have
this feature turned off. Below is an example of "nonscript" tags when used correctly: "Your browser
does not support JavaScript!"
An example when the nonscript tag is used incorrectly or maliciously is when some service or
products are advertised within the nonscript tag.
Other HTML tags that are misused in similar ways are noframes tags and hidden inputs in the form
of various forms.
The content can also be hidden from the end user by using CSS, extremely small fonts (many letters
typed within a single pixel) and using "invisible" text (for example, white letters on a white
background – the same color of

Example Of Search Strategy
Search strategy Three data bases were used to collect the data, namely, One Search, CINAHL and
ProQuest. These data bases were searched for the terms such as 'cardiac rehabilitation', 'quality of
life,' 'benefits', and 'CHD'. Inclusion criteria were qualitative articles, written in English and
published between the years of 2010 and 2017. Quantitative articles and articles written in
non–English languages are excluded from this study. Moreover, this study focused only on adults,
therefore the paediatric studies are also excluded from this study. After applying the inclusion and
exclusion strategy, 12 articles reported qualitative study regarding the topic and they are used in this
essay. Data analysis Braun and Clarke (2006) developed a...show more content...
1.1a ExercisePhysical inactivity is one of the modifiable risk factor for the coronary heart diseases
(Devries et al, 2011), and therefore exercise is used as an integral component of the primary and
secondary prevention in reducing mortality and improving the quality of life. Upon reviewing the
literature, the author found that, patients' perspective about physical exercise differs widely. In their
study Holder et al (2015) found that, the increased awareness of the mortality after the cardiac event,
help the patients to change their outlook towards life and this further help them to realise the health
benefit of exercise. In addition to that, some of the patients claimed that, exercise helped to divert
their mind and thus helps them to cope with the condition (Holder et al, 2015). Moreover, the
current cardiac rehabilitation programme, made the patients aware of the health benefits of exercise
and, therefore they were motivated to continue the exercise (Hillsdon et al, 2013; Morken et al,
2013). Exercising in a safe environment, under the supervision of the trained staff increases the
confidence of patients in participating exercise (Morken et al, 2013). The study also found that, the
patient increases their self–confidence level in performing exercise, after seeing the health
improvements in the former cardiac patients (Morken et al, 2013). Furthermore, Back et al (2017)
carried a further study to evaluate

Search Engines Essay
There are currently over a billion pages of information on the Internet about every topic imaginable.
The question is how can you possibly find what you want? Computer algorithms can be written to
search the Internet but most are not practical because they must sacrifice precision for coverage.
However, a few engines have found interesting ways of providing high quality information quickly.
Page value ranking, topic–specific searches, and Meta search engines are three of the most popular
because they work smarter not harder.
While no commercial search engine will make public their algorithm, the basic structure can be
inferred by testing the results. The reason for this is because there would be a thousand imitation
sites, meaning...show more content...
They realized that the most popular sites are those linked the most in other pages. Here is the
pseudocode algorithm for searching:
1. Parse the query
2. Convert the words into wordIDs.
3. Seek to the start of the doclist in the short barrel for every word.
4. Scan through the doclists until there is a document that matches all the search terms.
5. Compute the rank of that document for the query.
6. If we are in the short barrels and at the end of any doclist, seek to the start of the doclist in the full
barrel for every word and go to step 4.
7. If we are not at the end of any doclist go to step 4.
8. Sort the documents that have matched by rank and return the top k.
Each link to a page is like a vote for that page as well as the pages linked to that page. Thus a
hierarchy of pages is created and the search results are much more reliable. Lycos and Excite also
use the same system, but Google goes further. "It then looked at the position of the words on the
page, the size of the fonts, and the likelihood that the words were related to each other" (1). Going
the extra distance gives Google much better precision.
Google and engines like it can still be manipulated to achieve higher rankings. Anyone who creates a
set of pages with links between them can fool the system and add value to their page. So the race
continues to find yet another search engine. One promising way to search for

My Teenage Years
My teenage years were a rollercoaster. For the most part, I had a lot of growing up to do and to
figure out my future ahead of me. Like most teenagers, I was mainly focused on my own
difficulties and great moments. Many times, I found myself in complicated situations ashamed to
talk about. This course and textbook, Adolescent psychology, allowed me to reflect on my
teenage year. There are better ways to explain the aspects in my younger years. I will be going
over my family, friends and even myself to analyze my adolescent years. There were more
supportive answers to explain a few of my teenage years. As well as, issues most teenagers have
gone through. There are also explanations on relations with family and friends playing a role through
my youth. The importance and impact it can have on young adults. There always growth and
development going throughout our lives.
I think the unusual part was my parent's relationship. They were not together but lived together.
This often threw off relations with each other. My dad at moved out but then moved back in
because of immigration. This brought my parents back together once they figured out the legal
orders. Yet, a year went by and the relationship did not seem to work out. At the time I thought it
would be best if my parents would separate. I grew frustrated my mom would use the excuse that
they were together because of us. Honestly, that hurt me more than wanting them to stay together. If
they were not happy together what's the point of having them together? I told my parents at one
point they did not have to do it for us. I remember my brother crying but of the idea of my father
moving away rather than them not being together. In the textbook, there are advantages of them
staying together because of economically reasons (287). But my father had his own problems that
dragged us down. There were more pros to my parents divorcing right away then trying to stay
together. If it is economic reason is why most people stayed my mother used because of the children
for financial reasoning and not the emotional toll on us. I believe the unusual part was the lack of
family attention. My relationship with my family was complicated. My father was rarely in my

Essay on What is Happiness?
What is happiness? People have agonized over this question for centuries. Let me start this essay by
answering a somewhat easier question: what isn't happiness? Happiness is NOT feeling good all the
time. Happiness is a combination of human emotions and states of mind. Exploring this state of
being has consumed the philosophical minds of the ages and will continue to do so for ages to come.
In an unofficial poll of students at State University, I found that of the fifty–eight students and one
professor, males and females of several ethnic backgrounds and age groups, that I asked the question
"What is happiness to you?", all of them had very different physical, intellectual, or emotional
motivator for their happiness. Only the...show more content...
But these supplementary explanations do not affect the theory of life on which this theory of
morality is grounded namely, that pleasure, and freedom from pain, are the only things desirable as
ends; and that all desirable things (which are as numerous in the utilitarian as in any other scheme)
are desirable either for the pleasure inherent in themselves, or as means to the promotion of pleasure
and the prevention of pain. (Pojman 917)
Mill seems to think that happiness comes from the desire to be completely pain–free.
He says that happiness comes from selfishly fulfilled desires. The desire to attain only pleasure is
ludicrous; for a person to achieve a completely pain–free existence is impossible. To gain complete
happiness would leave them with no motivation to achieve anything else. Human nature is such that
if a person achieved pure happiness, that person would then become dissatisfied with that happiness,
causing them to, once again, be unhappy. A person will always experience something contrary to
pleasure, leaving them with some type of pain.
In my opinion, people seem to be happy for many different reasons at different times in their lives. I

For living so close to the track I should probably know more than I do, but that's about the extent of my knowledge. In my quest for knowledge my first stop was pretty easy to find. I went to the Williams Grove website because it seemed like a logical place to start my search. On this website I found a lot of information on drivers, tickets, past grove winners and many other topics. One section of the website that was particularly interesting to me was the page with sprint car specs on it. These specs are what Williams Grove requires if you are going to race there so this seemed as good a place to start as any. According to Williams Grove's website a sprint car is defined as "a racing vehicle of single seat design, built upon a racing chassis and mounted on four racing wheels." Specifically for Williams Grove all cars Get more content on HelpWriting.net

Essay On Plugins Best WordPress plugins – free canatlantic blog head picture 30/05/2014 By Goran SubotiД‡ 3 comments IT vesti WordPress is flexible, easy to set up a Web platform that has been downloaded over 60 million times since its launch in 2003. The CMS content (Content Management System) has created an incredibly rich plug–in ecosystem that gives the user the ability to improve the Search Engine Optimization of his site, manage comments and spam, changes and increases the number of articles. WordPress is the most represented CMS platform in projects for creating web sites. In short, there are many ways to extend the basic functionality of your WordPress installation. "– Tag for comment–" The real purpose of comment tags is that developers add reminders inside the code that explain what part of the code works or represents. Below is an example of a well–written comment: "! –The main part of the article–" If we wrote the keywords in our comment tag: SEO optimization, SEO, optimization agency, etc., this would be a promotion of a hypothetical site that deals with the optimization of the search system . Another popular way to hide content is to use the "nonscript" tag. This tag should be used to notify the user that the script has been used, but their browsers do not support the script language or have this feature turned off. Below is an example of "nonscript" tags when used correctly: "Your browser does not support JavaScript!" An example when the nonscript tag is used incorrectly or maliciously is when some service or products are advertised within the nonscript tag. Other HTML tags that are misused in similar ways are noframes tags and hidden inputs in the form of various forms. The content can also be hidden from the end user by using CSS, extremely small fonts (many letters typed within a single pixel) and using "invisible" text (for example, white letters on a white background – the same color of Get more content on HelpWriting.net

Upon reviewing the literature, the author found that, patients' perspective about physical exercise differs widely. In their study Holder et al (2015) found that, the increased awareness of the mortality after the cardiac event, help the patients to change their outlook towards life and this further help them to realise the health benefit of exercise. In addition to that, some of the patients claimed that, exercise helped to divert their mind and thus helps them to cope with the condition (Holder et al, 2015). Moreover, the current cardiac rehabilitation programme, made the patients aware of the health benefits of exercise and, therefore they were motivated to continue the exercise (Hillsdon et al, 2013; Morken et al, 2013). Exercising in a safe environment, under the supervision of the trained staff increases the confidence of patients in participating exercise (Morken et al, 2013). • 4. Search Engines Essay There are currently over a billion pages of information on the Internet about every topic imaginable. The question is how can you possibly find what you want? Computer algorithms can be written to search the Internet but most are not practical because they must sacrifice precision for coverage. However, a few engines have found interesting ways of providing high quality information quickly. Page value ranking, topic–specific searches, and Meta search engines are three of the most popular because they work smarter not harder. While no commercial search engine will make public their algorithm, the basic structure can be inferred by testing the results. The reason for this is because there would be a thousand imitation sites, meaning...show more content... They realized that the most popular sites are those linked the most in other pages. Here is the pseudocode algorithm for searching: 1. Parse the query 2. Convert the words into wordIDs. 3. Seek to the start of the doclist in the short barrel for every word. 4. Scan through the doclists until there is a document that matches all the search terms. 5. Compute the rank of that document for the query. 6. If we are in the short barrels and at the end of any doclist, seek to the start of the doclist in the full barrel for every word and go to step 4. 7. If we are not at the end of any doclist go to step 4. 8. Sort the documents that have matched by rank and return the top k. Each link to a page is like a vote for that page as well as the pages linked to that page. Thus a hierarchy of pages is created and the search results are much more reliable. Lycos and Excite also use the same system, but Google goes further. "It then looked at the position of the words on the page, the size of the fonts, and the likelihood that the words were related to each other" (1). Going the extra distance gives Google much better precision. Google and engines like it can still be manipulated to achieve higher rankings. Anyone who creates a set of pages with links between them can fool the system and add value to their page. So the race continues to find yet another search engine. • 5. My Teenage Years My teenage years were a rollercoaster. For the most part, I had a lot of growing up to do and to figure out my future ahead of me. Like most teenagers, I was mainly focused on my own difficulties and great moments. Many times, I found myself in complicated situations ashamed to talk about. This course and textbook, Adolescent psychology, allowed me to reflect on my teenage year. There are better ways to explain the aspects in my younger years. I will be going over my family, friends and even myself to analyze my adolescent years. There were more supportive answers to explain a few of my teenage years. As well as, issues most teenagers have gone through. There are also explanations on relations with family and friends playing a role through my youth. The importance and impact it can have on young adults. There always growth and development going throughout our lives. I think the unusual part was my parent's relationship. They were not together but lived together. This often threw off relations with each other. My dad at moved out but then moved back in because of immigration. This brought my parents back together once they figured out the legal orders. Yet, a year went by and the relationship did not seem to work out. At the time I thought it would be best if my parents would separate. I grew frustrated my mom would use the excuse that they were together because of us. Honestly, that hurt me more than wanting them to stay together. If they were not happy together what's the point of having them together? I told my parents at one point they did not have to do it for us. I remember my brother crying but of the idea of my father moving away rather than them not being together. In the textbook, there are advantages of them staying together because of economically reasons (287). But my father had his own problems that dragged us down. There were more pros to my parents divorcing right away then trying to stay together. If it is economic reason is why most people stayed my mother used because of the children for financial reasoning and not the emotional toll on us. I believe the unusual part was the lack of family attention. My relationship with my family was complicated. My father was rarely in my teenage Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 6. Essay on What is Happiness? What is happiness? People have agonized over this question for centuries. Let me start this essay by answering a somewhat easier question: what isn't happiness? Happiness is NOT feeling good all the time. Happiness is a combination of human emotions and states of mind. Exploring this state of being has consumed the philosophical minds of the ages and will continue to do so for ages to come. In an unofficial poll of students at State University, I found that of the fifty–eight students and one professor, males and females of several ethnic backgrounds and age groups, that I asked the question "What is happiness to you?", all of them had very different physical, intellectual, or emotional motivator for their happiness. Only the...show more content... But these supplementary explanations do not affect the theory of life on which this theory of morality is grounded namely, that pleasure, and freedom from pain, are the only things desirable as ends; and that all desirable things (which are as numerous in the utilitarian as in any other scheme) are desirable either for the pleasure inherent in themselves, or as means to the promotion of pleasure and the prevention of pain. (Pojman 917) Mill seems to think that happiness comes from the desire to be completely pain–free. He says that happiness comes from selfishly fulfilled desires. The desire to attain only pleasure is ludicrous; for a person to achieve a completely pain–free existence is impossible. To gain complete happiness would leave them with no motivation to achieve anything else. Human nature is such that if a person achieved pure happiness, that person would then become dissatisfied with that happiness, causing them to, once again, be unhappy. A person will always experience something contrary to pleasure, leaving them with some type of pain. In my opinion, people seem to be happy for many different reasons at different times in their lives. I Get more content on HelpWriting.net

State or federal officers are allowed where justified to search your car, house, property in order to seize illegal items such as drugs, illegal weapons, stolen goods just to name a few. They can have a search warrant to go into a premises and confiscate illegal paraphernalia or when doing a routine traffic stop an officer might become suspicious of activity that is not normal and conduct a search of the vehicle to see why the driver is not acting normal. I had a wife and three children, still do, and the same job I'd had since my graduation from Quantico. We were living just outside Portland. My oldest son, John jr., was in his third year at Washington. The twins were high school seniors at this time and my pride and joy, daddy's little girls. He wore a wrinkled suit, dark blue with a white kerchief. His hair was slicked back, still wet and he was unshaven. He wore no expression, as if he were dead. The judge spoke slowly, pausing for breath as she read the sentence. After the announcement, the defendant simply rose and extended his hands so he could be detained. Still the face of the small figure on the screen did not change. He was hand–cuffed and led away. The scene abruptly shifted to the penitentiary grounds.
