Dr. Asif Rahim –
Medical Director
Skincare Laser Centre is supervised by
dermatologist Dr. Asif Rahim. He has over 20
years of experience in medical dermatology, laser
and skin care, serving both clinical and aesthetic
patients in his home country of Pakistan.
His evolving interest in the aesthetic aspect of his
medical dermatology expertise, led him to
opening the Skincare Laser Centre here in
Calgary, AB in 2017. Dr. Rahim has built an
aesthetics laser centre that is dedicated to
providing state-of-the-art skin treatments and
technologies including Xeo Laser Genesis,
HydraFacial and Cynosure’s PicoSure laser.
Reversion the signs of aging before they start by
addressing visible imperfections like fine lines,

Gabby knew early on in her schooling that she wanted to
pursue a career in the aesthetics industry, helping clients
to enhance their natural beauty while improving their self-
confidence. Gabby Korchinski completed her clinical
aesthetic training, earning honors in many of her courses
while receiving accolades from experts in the industry for
her innate clinical skills and ability to provide outstanding
client care.

2. CYNOSURE PICOSURE
PicoSure is a new and innovative
aesthetic laser that is able to
revitalize skin without using heat
like older models. Instead, PicoSure
uses energy to rejuvenate the skin.
By converting energy into pressure
waves, PicoSure can alter blemishes
on the skin. Because of its ability to
operate without heat as the driving
force, PicoSure provides less
discomfort and downtime during
and after the procedure.
CUTERA XEO
Cutera Xeo uses non-invasive
technology to target and reduce the
signs of wrinkles, sun damage, and
unsightly veins. Using heat-based
laser therapy, the Laser Genesis
targets the deeper layer of skin (the
dermis), stimulating the collagen
beneath the surface to reveal a
smoother, more youthful
complexion on top. Cutera Xeo can
also be used to treat nail fungus and
warts.

3. HYDRAFACIAL
Hydrafacial is a hydradermabrasion
procedure that uses a combination
of extraction, exfoliation, hydration,
and cleansing techniques to infuse
your skin with antioxidants – leaving
you looking and feeling refreshed!
Patients can choose a classic
HydraFacial or customize each
treatment with an add-on to fit
their specific skin concerns.
