A Bold Move in a New Direction • There are a host of new features that iOS mobile application developers will be able to use in creating stunning mobile apps with this powerful new OS. • “iOS 7 is the most significant iOS update since the original iPhone,” said Craig Federighi, Apple’s senior vice president of Software Engineering.
  3. 3. New Control Centre • You will simply slide-up the menu from the bottom of the screen to adjust settings. • Easily access different tabs to quickly change brightness, volume, Wi-Fi settings, listen to music, snap a pic, and access other apps.
  4. 4. Multi-tasking modifications consume less battery • It also appears that when you go into multi-task view (double tapping home button) you will now get a live preview of everything you have open.
  5. 5. Unlimited Safari browser tabs • Tabs are now in a carousel view and are no longer limited to 8 tabs. • The browser will also open into a full screen mode on default • Pull down the screen to reveal the search bar.
  6. 6. Siri received a voice change • A more realistic sound. • Option to choose a male or female voice.
  7. 7. Apple Photos • The gallery has been revamped. • Camera app allows you to quickly switch between types (such as panorama or HDR). • You can tack on Instagram-style filters straight from your iPhone.
