Portofolio Interior Design by Sun

 1. 1. portofolio Sun With thanks for watching :-*
 2. 2.

As I do Love bridges, I demolished 6x2,5m of the floor and placed a glass bridge, to enter, with stairs to the basement. It was funny to see how most of the people were scared to walk in. They rather made strange jumps. Or being carried in.

Being the 1st modern supplier for the South Coast, the black walls, bizar lighting, innovative designs, the website, my black cat with purple & diamonds necklace lying on the white sofa’s made this shop famous in no time. People got almost ran over, when they crossed the street to push their nose against the glass.

It wasn’t seen before.

 3. 3. Making this mini-market into my 2nd furniture shop
 4. 4.

My 2nd big commercial project was making this contemporary Hair Salon.

Although the client in 1st place hired me to fit Amtico Flooring, because they had a design from an Architect. (the most famous one at that time)

At the 1st building meeting, the owner of the place didn’t look bothered at all with their project. After fine tuning, or rather said: direct asking, I found out that the Architect delayed 5 months in making the design and didn’t want to make any changes –no time and no interest in such a ‘small project’. She got tired to try to make understand what she wanted and gave up the ‘fight’. Reason why I felt no interest from the owner at all, as only having the place up and running asap.

My steph-father was 3x World Champion Hairdressing. Reason enough for me to know what is going on behind the scenes. What clients want/need and what the staff needs. Being a contemporary Hairdressers salon, it was NOT-DONE to use materials such as Travetine Marble and plastic product racks. “If you are in Fashion, you must show YOU Are Fashion!”

I proposed to make a free design and worked all night. Next day I showed the idea. The day after they stood waiting for me to open the door. They wanted it all. Everything. We stopped the building site, broke out the needless and ugly new builds and I took over the construction, purpose made furniture, interior fitting and provided service untill the last detail. Even hover bags, industrial laundry equipment, kitchen, music equipment, publicity signs, toilet roll holders, hand blowers, cash till, everything.

 5. 5. 3-D image and real picture
 6. 7.

Pivoting doors, Japanese walls, rounded (bended concrete) walls, purpose made furniture (own design), luxurious materials, smart lighting, Amtico flooring, innovative routing, designed to cm2, made this place exceptional.

 7. 8. .
 8. 9.

You have to walk a steel cable hung bridge when you want a product.

But mostly it is asked to the receptionist, who knows she can rely on the architectural structure.

 9. 10.

The mirrors run on a curved rail, in front of a concrete bent wall. The purpose made cabinet moves behind the mirror for a minimalistic look, when the station is not occupied.

Everything is movable.

Flexible.

Timeless

 10. 11.

8 years later, the place still looks as brand new and it is still the most beautifull one!

Reflections Hair, Nails & Beauty

in Nueva Andalucia, South of Spain.

I designed as well the Nail Salon, 2nd Hairsalon and the Beauty Salon

 11. 12.

Be up-dated soon

Come back for more, please.

Thank you.
