Concern for Road and Pedestrian Safety is a citizen's initiative aiming to help reduce traffic accidents, and hence number of road deaths, in India.

This initiative will address three main areas:

Empathy on the road - an education and awareness campaign bringing sensitivity towards the road users

Pavement infrastructure - a public-private partnership program facilitating building, maintenance and repair of safe pavements in the city

Life-saving first-aid - a safety net of first-aid capacity across the private and public medical clinics across the city

CoRPS PedestrianInfrastructure • Researching and understanding the dynamics of stakeholders, pavement needs, impact, construction and maintenance in the most critical locations • Developing tool for quick and practicable design of pavements and safe walking spaces • Developing best practices of creating pavements in a given locality through community inputs • Developing ideas on creating commercial and advertising spaces around pavements by conducting design competition
