A 107 year old institution, it is known world wide for its humanitarian work and one of its largest projects has been the Eradication of Polio from this world where it has reached a 98% success. It receives donations from philanthropists like Bill Gates and Warren Buffet.
  3. 4. Rotary Club of Bombay Pier is one of the Premier Clubs of District 3140 Bringing together successful businessmen / professionals who want to give back to Society. Aim and objectives “ To give back to the Community at large, their need based requirements”

Our Club History <ul><li>Our club was formally chartered on </li></ul><ul><li>12 th April 1992 we are now into our 20 th year. </li></ul><ul><li>As on 1st July ,2011 the club strength is 90 members & growing. </li></ul><ul><li>Participated in various service projects </li></ul><ul><li>A club known for it innovative ways and means </li></ul><ul><li>A club with a diverse range of members from industrialist to well placed professionals </li></ul><ul><li>A club where the average age of members is about 45 </li></ul><ul><li>One which enjoys tremendous bonding and fellowship </li></ul><ul><li>One which continues to strive for better and bolder objectives </li></ul>

ANTHONYS(BANDRA) AND SHEPERDS WIDOWS(BYCULLA) HOME FOR THE ELDERLY </li></ul>

Our Club Projects <ul><li>‘ SEC for the physical challenged: where we take care of about 350 children with multiple physical disabilities, by way of remedial room, nutrition, computer room, vocational support, sharing festivals with them, art and painting competition </li></ul><ul><li>Outdoor activity. </li></ul>

Ex- Students workshop Disability awareness workshop Donated Books Marathi to English and Hindi to English Interact Club of SEC Antop Hill Supported ex students for their business Donated 350 special chairs covering all the 4 schools of SEC as children were sitting on wooden chairs with helmets.
  8. 10. DREAMZ HOME (Orphanage) We are now taking care of 62 children . Share Friendship Day with them. Our Anne’s have spent time to teach them envelope making in order to develop latent talents. Took them out for meals to Mc Donald’s Organized drawing/art competition on Children’s day Donation and set up a Toy Library Donated OTG and Vacuum cleaner Donated floor mats to the children Donated 2 sewing machines Donated clothes to the children Donated Literacy Books for the use of the children Organized a special Mela for the children where they were many rides, games, tattoo artists and special food. Sponsored the higher education for a child.
  9. 11. V CARE (Children with Cancer) Toy Library inaugurated ” Taree Zameen Pe” an event in which we fulfilled the wishes by providing specific gifts desired by the critically ill children. We donated 300 umbrellas to Vcare Each new child patient is given a new gift each week to make them comfortable this was sponsored by our club . We celebrated Janamastami with the children where they and our Annes arranged a dance performance

  11. 13. Donation of stationary, mats, books etc to Bane Computers to SEC Antop Hill for setting up computer learning institute Free Dental camp Christmas Party for the Old Age Homes Outing for children of AASHRAY and Dreamz Home to Mc Donalds ( 100 children)

  14. 16. G.O.D.S( Group of the Disabled) Donated Funds to provide free transportation and upkeep towards the running of the disabled friendly van that we had donated ,so that students of GODS can avail of free travel Sponsored the disability workshop
