Anil Ambani-led Reliance Power on Sunday said four shares of Reliance Natural Resources Ltd (RNRL) will be converted into one share of RPower as part of merger between the two group companies. 2. RNRL has become a wholly owned subsidiary of RPower and its shares have ceased to be tradable on the stock markets with effect from November 9, 2010. AJIT Isaac, who sold his PeopleOne Consulting to Swiss staffing giant Adecco six years ago, has acquired Hyderabad-based tech staffing firm Magna Infotech for Rs100 crore. 2. As demand for temporary software programmers picks up, outsourcing companies are increasingly looking to avoid adding more staff on their payroll, and are instead sub-contracting projects to companies such as Magna. Already, the Indian contracted staff market is expected to become around $2.5 billion industry in five years. India will join China in filling up Canadian stores with cheaper goods once New Delhi and Ottawa sign a free trade agreement to do away with many taxes and duties. 2. The prime ministers of the two countries announced the start of talks for a comprehensive economic partnership agreement during their meeting on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Seoul. 3. The two countries aim to push their trade more than three-fold from the current $4.2 billion in the next five years. The QIB category of the book then was subscribed 115 times, the HNI or non-institutional category by 40 times and the retail category by seven times. The shares listed at Rs 85. Internet search giant Google Inc has approved a handsome pay hike of 30 per cent and bonuses of 250 per cent of the base salary for its top executives starting next year. 2. Google said its four top executives - Patrick Pichette, Chief Financial Officer, Global Business Head Nikesh Arora, Engineering-and-Research Chief Alan Eustace and product chief Jonathan Rosenberg- would each see their increase in pay from USD 500,000 to USD 650,000 next year. Australia has drastically changed its skilled migration test to favour potential migrants with higher skills, experience and better command over the English language. 2. While there has been a significant drop in Indian students going to Australia for studies in the recent past, the Thursday changes could jeopardise permanent residence plans of hundreds of thousands of overseas students already studying in Australia.
