  2. 2. Hula Instruments <ul><li>. Hawaiians use most their instruments for dances </li></ul><ul><li>. Some of the hula songs were meant to be danced with one or more instruments </li></ul><ul><li>. The most simple instrument was the body itself </li></ul>
  3. 3. Hula sticks <ul><li>. Hula sticks were about 3 feet long and were heavy. </li></ul><ul><li>. There were 2 sticks, the 2 nd stick was 10 inches long. </li></ul><ul><li>. He used the short stick to tap on long stick. </li></ul>
  4. 4. Footboards <ul><li>. Hula dancers sometimes stomped on the ground. </li></ul><ul><li>. They used special boards. </li></ul><ul><li>. He used the footboards with the hula sticks. </li></ul>
