cylinder : A cylinder is the power unit of an engine; its the chamber where the gasoline is burned and turned into power. (For more on what goes on inside the cylinders, see How Engines Work.) .
valve : The valve which allows mixture into the cylinder is the inlet valve; the one through which the spent gases escape is the exhaust valve.
intercooler : An intercooler is just another name for a heat exchanger that is used to cool air that has been compressed by either a Super-Charger or a Turbocharger.
