  3. 3. Management mantras When you work as a team member you are always inspired by the leader. Similarly when you become a leader you need to cultivate and build your team’s confidence. Your team should have confidence in itself as well as in your leadership skills. The 80:20 rules simply establish the relationship between input and output. In an organization the efforts of 20% of the employees generate 80% of the output. A good leader will identify those 20% persons and make them his team.
  4. 4. Crisis management Crisis situation emerges when things do not move in the desired direction. If your action inspire others to dream more, learn more ,do more and become more then you are a LEADER
  5. 5. Model a Vision for Excellence Engage your staff in a brainstorming session during the first faculty meeting in order to develop a collective vision on how to transform the school for the betterment of all students.
  6. 6. Make No Excuses Think and reflect upon the ways to accomplish the goals you set as opposed to the challenges, roadblocks, and pushback you will experience. These are all common complications that arise during the change process and should not be used as excuses not to push forward. We must be the pillars of our respective institutions and focus on solutions rather than problems. The relationship between educators' values and beliefs and their impact on school improvement needs to be explored.
  7. 7. The School Growth Plan is built on the individual needs of the school, based on a variety of assessment sources.
