  2. 2. Longest stage usually. This is when the cell starts to make proteins.<br />Interphase<br />
  3. 3. Growth and Preparation<br />This stage the cell still makes more protein but it also starts to grow in size<br />
  4. 4. DNA Replication<br />The cell breaks down the DNA and then is split up into a copy for the new cell.<br />
  5. 5. Continued Growth and Prep<br />Spindle Fibres start to appear<br />

  7. 7. Early Phrophase/Mitosis<br />Chromosomes start to roll up tight and become lines<br />
  8. 8. Nucleolus membrane starts to disappear<br />
  9. 9. Phrosphase<br />Spindle fibres move to the poles of the cell and the nucleolus membrane starts to disappear and the chromosomes duplicate and becomes X shaped<br />
  10. 10. Spindle Fibres grab chromsomes<br />
  11. 11. Metaphase<br />The spindle fibres then pull the chromosomes into the middle of the cell.<br />
  12. 12. Anaphase <br />The spindle fibres keep pulling and takes half of the chromosomes with them and the cell starts to stretch<br />
  13. 13. Telophase<br />In this phase the cell slowly moves apart and creates two new cells with the nucleolus membrane starts to show<br />

  20. 20. Cytokinesis<br />The coiled up chromosomes start to unwind, and then starts to unwind into chromatin.<br />
  21. 21. Final stage<br />These are the two final cells. They look like there parents cells and are called daughter cells.<br />
