Facade and interior alteration for an existing 5 storey mixed use office and retail building directly opposite Maple Leaf Gardens. Emphasis was placed on maintaining as much of the existing enclosure and thereby preserving the existing tenant space directly behind it. Two options were presented to the client a more traditional approach and a more contemporary approach. The enclosure of the ground floor retail spaces was removed as much as possible in order to maximize storefront glazing. The ornate lobby with its marbled flooring and intricate coffered ceiling was also restored to its original grandeur.

  3. 3. 2180 Steeles Avenue West, Vaughan, ONAn interior alteration for an approximately 4,000 sq.ft. ophthalmology office. The space planningrevolves around a pentagon shaped reception desk, flanked with waiting areas adjacent to theperimeter glazing. The layout consists of multiple “pod” design. Each pod allowing a tech tonavigate between 2 exam rooms through interior sliding panels. Primary colours were selected toguide the patients throughout the office.
  4. 4. 7900 Hurontario Street, Brampton, ONAn interior alteration for an approximately 7,000 sq.ft. ophthalmology office. The space planningrevolves around minimizing the public path of travel. Public waiting areas and rooms requiringglazing are placed around the perimeter glazing. Four doctor clusters are placed at the centre of thefloor. Contemporary colours and materials were chosen to accent a minimalist design andappearance. The primary corridor off of the central core is guided by a gypsum soffit leading to aperpendicular placed receptionist desk. A heavy stone veneer provides texture to the soft woodsand reflective flooring tiles.
  5. 5. 430 McNeilly Road, Stoney Creek, ONA two storey 30,000 square feet mixed use commercial and industrial building facing the QueenElizabeth Expressway. A large simplified arched entrance greets the main entrance of each building.A strong and heavy stone veneer anchors the corners and base of the building. A teal blue EIFSband accentuates the horizontality of the building, providing a background for the ground floorsignage. Parking is placed behind a shielded landcaped berm.
  6. 6. 502 Huntington Road, Vaughan, ONLEED AP assistance for Condor Properties for the Longo’s head office and distribution centre. Thefacility will house a 50,000 sq.ft. head office, a dry warehouse of 100,000 sq.ft, and a refrigeratedcomponent of 60,000 sq.ft. Innovative energy saving measures will be incorporated to reuse thewaste heat from the refrigeration systems for both space and process heating.
