3.  State Advisory Committee (SAC)(GOI inst.oct.2011)
for combating trafficking of women & children for
commercial sexual exploitation notified in May 2012
under the chairmanship of Secy.SWD
 Community Health Action Network(CHAN)
appointed as Nodal NGO for Human Trafficking
 Nodal Officer, Anti HumanTrafficking,SWD
appointed
 Financial assistance of Rs.40000 to victims rescued
from Mumbai.

4.  Ujjawala scheme - A Comprehensive
Scheme for Prevention of trafficking and
Rescue, Rehabilitation and Re-integration
of Victims of Trafficking and Commercial
Sexual Exploitation - sanctioned by the
GOI.The project is undertaken by
BEISEITU- a registered society under the
aegis of SWD

central govt.

6.  SWADHAR (30 bedded)scheme
implemented
 JJ (Care & Protection of Children) ACT
2000 implemented, State Rules 2010
 Integrated Child Protection Scheme
(ICPS) to bring several child protection
schemes under one umbrella - set up –
units,CWC,JJB,SJPU. child tracking
systems, shelter and children Homes
etc.

7.  Mizoram Prohibition of Child Marriage
Rules 2010-notified in July 2010
 Appointment of Child Marriage
Officers from the existing Social
Welfare Officers in all the 8 District in
August 2010
 Short Stay Home run by ZDU
 Organised Workshop/Seminars
