  1. 1. Mandriva Linux 2010.1 (Mandriva 2010 Spring) installation using DUAL CD. stlouismug.org
  2. 2. Outline <ul><li>This installation was performed from CD (also known as DUAL CD or mini CD). DUAL CD has labeled '2010 Spring RC2'.
  3. 3. LXDE is default desktop on DUAL CD. </li></ul>

  5. 5. The beginning - license agreement.
  6. 6. There was Mandriva Linux 2010.0 installed on existing system. Default choice is to upgrade.
  7. 7. Installing instead of upgrading.
  8. 8. Mandriva is detecting existing keyboard.
  9. 9. Installation was performed on VirtualBox. This is reflected in harddisk drive name – VBOX Harddisk.
  10. 10. Detecting existing partitions and default installation suggestion.
  11. 11. The choice was to eliminate existing operating system (Mandriva Linux 2010.0) and perform fresh installation.
  12. 12. The final warning. Pressing 'Next' button starts formatting partition(s).
