- 14. Emission fee hikes to curb oil imports Responding to oil imports exceeding agreed industry targets the government announced yesterday that fees will rise from the beginning of next month. A spokesman for the national agency for emissions control stated that decrease in imports should be at 2% a year and that the market was moving slower than expected.
