Conservation & Upgrading of Rural Heritage <ul><li>Preservation and development of vernacular architecture, crafts, archaeology, cultural traditions. </li></ul><ul><li>Restoration and development of natural areas, features and areas of environmental significance </li></ul><ul><li>Community environmental actions </li></ul><ul><li>Environmental initiatives aimed at waste reduction </li></ul><ul><li>Alternative or renewable energy actions </li></ul>

Training <ul><li>Provision of general/specialised training courses linked to the increased use of know-how and new technologies. </li></ul><ul><li>Provision of flexible learning opportunities in new technology for women, young people and minority groups. </li></ul><ul><li>Development of training facilities in rural areas. </li></ul>
  14. 14. Inter-territorial / Transnational Cooperation <ul><li>Co-operation between Leader groups and non-Leader groups may be eligible for funding provided the project is led and co-ordinated by the Leader Group. </li></ul><ul><li>Co-operation must consist of a joint project between the groups involved. </li></ul><ul><li>Special emphasis place on co-ordination of activities at the regional level. </li></ul>
  15. 15. Rates of Grant Assistance <ul><li>For individual promoters and companies: </li></ul><ul><li>- capital and other projects – 50% maximum </li></ul><ul><li>grant of up to €150,000. </li></ul><ul><li>- Analysis & Development may receive </li></ul><ul><li>75% support with a maximum grant of </li></ul><ul><li>€ 30,000. </li></ul>
  16. 16. Rates of Grant Assistance <ul><li>For community organisations: </li></ul><ul><li>- For capital and other projects 75% with a </li></ul><ul><li>maximum grant of up to €150,000 </li></ul><ul><li>- In exceptional circumstances & subject to </li></ul><ul><li>prior approval of Department, grant aid of up to €200,000 may be awarded to community projects. </li></ul><ul><li>- Analysis & Development - projects may receive </li></ul><ul><li>90% support with a maximum grant of </li></ul><ul><li>€ 30,000. </li></ul>
  17. 17. Training <ul><li>Support rate for eligible training is 100% up to a maximum of €150,000. </li></ul>
