Agile Methods and especially Scrum has been gaining a lot of popularity over the last few years and is now considered to be a mainstream methodology, where many IT-projects look to use these methods to deliver faster, better and cheaper. Still Agile Methods are not fully accepted as a methodology in large projects, which tend to take favour of traditional methods as the Waterfall Model or Rational Unified Process (RUP).
