  2. 2. What is it?<br />Quick weight loss programs are also called fad diets<br />Some of the most popular diets are the Adkins, South Beach, Scarsdale, Zone, Metabolism, Grapefruit, and Cabbage Soup diets<br />

  4. 4. Being overweight or obese increases the risk of heart disease, cancers diabetes, bone and joint problems and surgical risks.<br />And ideal BMI is 20-25<br />Overweight is a BMI of 24-29<br />Obesity Class II is a BMI 30-40<br />Obesity Class III is more than a BMI of 40<br />
  5. 5. ADKINS<br />The Adkins Diet is a popular low carb. diet but it is high in fat and it has prompted health concerns, the Adkins diet can result in more weight loss than other diets<br />The Adkins Diet restricts fruits and vegetables, and restricts whole grains.<br />
  6. 6. SOUTH BEACH<br />You have rapid weight loss in phase I of the diet which is two weeks long.<br />During phase I and II you only lose one or two more pounds.<br />
