Das zweite Quartal 2014 auf dem deutschen Telekommunikationsmarkt war eher schwach. Im Mobilfunk konnten alle Anbieter zusammen 400,000 neue Kunden gewinnen. Auf dem Festnetzmarkt legte die Deutsche Telekom um 7,000 Kunden zu, Kabel Deutschland/Vodafone um 53,000 und United Internet um 50,000 Neukunden
