  6. 6. •Kinaban is a jaw harp instrument which is made of slim bamboo. It is approximately a ball pen size of varying lengths and shapes.
  7. 7. •Kudlong is a boat shaped string instrument.
  8. 8. Lantoy •It is a transverse flute. •It has 5 holes •It is tuned diatonically
  9. 9. Agung •Used as an ensemble by the Hanunuo. •Consists of 2 light gongs •It is played by 2 men squatting on the floor •Play simple duple meter

  11. 11. Palawan •One of the most visited places by tourists in the Philippines. •It is home to beautiful beaches, marvelous stone formations, the underground river and the Tabon Man whose bones where discovered in the Tabon cave of Palawan.
  12. 12. 1) Vocal Music •Are mainly used for work, leisure, worship and rituals. •Most often they are performed with musical instruments.
  13. 13. Types of Vocal Music: 1. Lantege is a love song of the Tagbanuas and people of Palawan. 2. Kingking Tarinting Layang Pasiyak is an example of Cuyunon traditional folksong. Tarinting is a kind of bird usually found in the sea shore.
