  2. 2. Eco-innovation for a Sustainable Future • http://ec.europa.eu/environment/etap/index_en.h tml • Eco-friendly technologies are good for business, reduce pressure on the environment and can create new jobs. The European Commission invites all stakeholders and the public to discover and share promising opportunities to make eco- innovation an everyday reality throughout Europe.
  3. 3. CENTRAL GOVERNMENT AUTHORITIES, ACCORDING TO THE FIRST REPORT ON IMPLEMENTATION OF THE AGREEMENT BY THE EU AS OF FEBRUARY 24, 2015, THE LEVEL OF IMPLEMENTATION OF EUROPEAN REGULATIONS REMAINS THE LOWEST IN THE ENVIRONMENTAL SECTOR - COMPARED WITH OTHER SECTORS REFORMS IN UKRAINE
  4. 4. Technical regulation of environmental safety in a world increasingly innovative approaches to production interests in all environmental areas. This is evident in the work of leading companies that combine technological and legal forms of activity. for example • AGRECO was established in 1992 as a European Economic Interest Group (EEIG) in order to pool the material and human resources of the consulting companies AGRER(Belgium) and AGRICONSULTING (Italy) for the preparation and implementation of large-scale studies and projects in the field of biodiversity conservation and natural resources management. 15 years later, this objective is reached, many of the environmental projects managed by AGRECO being recognized by various donors as successfully implemented. • In the framework of its activities the company has established close links with research institutes in Europe as well as in the beneficiary countries, thereby enhancing better co-ordination between research objectives and management needs in conservation and environment management.
  5. 5. http://www.agreco.be/uk/Accueil.asp AGRECO’s track record and those of its member companies cover Africa, Asia, Latin America, and Europe. Particular experience has been gained in the co-ordination and management of regional projects, with actions at the local (protected area, communities,...), the national (forestry and environmental administrations) and the regional level (between the administrations, institutions and protected areas of the countries concerned). The company is therefore especially familiar with issues as mediation, exchange of experience and information, cross-border cooperation and coordination.

  7. 7. people today are too overwhelmed responsibility - for the family, children, house maintenance, housekeeping, career. They make sure that anything you buy or sell in Europe is manufactured to the same standards, and they give you the right to know what is going into your environment. In this section you can find out how EU laws are made and how they work, more about the advantages of sharing legislation at EU level, your rights when it comes to finding information about the environment, and why it's so important to assess the impacts of infrastructure before it's actually built.

The above mentioned project has prepared the report “Assessment of the implementation of the Strategy of Ukraine's State Environmental Policy for the Period until 2020 and National Environmental Action Plan (NEAP) for 2011–2015”, covering the period 2011-2013. • The effectiveness of the Strategy and NEAP implementation is assessed as “satisfactory” (higher than 30% but less than 60%). • Thanks to this project the process of public assessment of national environmental policy implementation was initiated in Ukraine. Two reports have been developed by environmental NGOs for 2011 and 2012. Also a large awareness raising campaign regarding the implementation of the EU environmental directives, importance of protected areas etc. was conducted during 2012-2014.
