Before or after the verb?  What verb pattern follows the expression look forward to? Remember! This “to” is not the infinitive form of the verb that follows but a preposition belonging to the expression.  The writer is narrating what he´s been up to in connection to the concert. Is there anything peculiar about the chunk “who wants to go with me”? What tense should be used here instead? Activity 3: Rewriting an opening paragraph. Taking into consideration the aspects mentioned above, can you rewrite your own opening paragraph? Dear Alex, I´ve already know about the concert and I wanted really to go! Dear Alex, It was great to hear from you! I was looking forward to go to this concert but I still was looking for someone who wants to go with me.
