  2. 2. Masturbation is not a stigma in many places. But it is so in many other places. Since sex without emotions came to be a stigma, masturbation became a matter of despise amongst some people. In addition; when broader and nobler emotions in preference to sex; became a point of worship; sex in general and masturbation in particular got identified with basal or carnal quality. Somewhere and somehow, an individual also feels a void or loss after masturbation. Hence masturbation leads to some kind of feeling lowliness or guilt.
