1. In picture is an Australian dessert. It consists of squares or more often these days
rectangles of sponge cake coated first in a layer of chocolate sauce, then in desiccated
coconut. They are sometimes served as two halves with a layer of cream or strawberry jam
between.
Most accounts of its creation agree that it was named after a person, who served as
Governor of Queensland from 1896 to 1901, and Governor of Bombay from 1903 to 1907.
There are some theories that it might have been named for his wife. One account also
claims the dessert resembled the homburg hats that he favoured.
What is its name which will remind you of a
‘hi –tech’ road in Mumbai?

3. This is a voice disorder that is caused by abuse or overuse of the vocal cords. People
who speak or sing outside their normal vocal range can develop this disorder; symptoms
are chiefly an unnaturally deep or rough voice, or dysphonia, and vocal fatigue. The people
most commonly afflicted are those who speak in a low-pitched voice, particularly if they
have poor breath and vocal control. The syndrome can affect both men and women.
In 1988 an article was published, describing this discrete type of vocal dysfunction which
results in men sounding like X and women sounding like Y. It is now the medical term for
an ongoing hoarseness that often afflicts actors, singers or TV/radio voice workers who
routinely speak in a very low pitch.
Which real life couple is this syndrome named after? (X-Y syndrome)
