Databases: The Advantages <ul><li>Reliable – The library’s online databases are compiled by well-established vendors and selected by Thousand Oaks librarians. </li></ul><ul><li>Convenient – The information is literally “at your fingertips” on your computer. </li></ul><ul><li>Current – Electronic databases are updated continuously for up-to-the-minute information. </li></ul><ul><li>Available – Unlike information in books, electronic information is never checked out to someone else. </li></ul><ul><li>Free - The library subscribes to them for you! </li></ul>
