  7. 7. Landmark : normal alveoli<br />Disease : tumor emboli, lungShows hematogenous spread.. The malignant cells will be found w/I the BV.<br />Blood vessel<br />Malignant cells occluding the BV<br />

  9. 9. Hair follicle<br />Sebaceous gland<br />Dermoid cyst , ovaryThere’s ectodermal differentiation due to presence of totipotential cell thus presenting with sebaceous gland, hair follicles, etc.See stuff that are not suppose to be seen in ovary!<br />

  11. 11. Papillary CA, thyroid Lymphoidspread<br />Psammoma’s body<br />Normal thyroid follicle<br />The thyroid follicles are surrounded by malignant cells … they are arranged into papillary pattern.<br />
