Protocols

Telnet

Telnet is a standard application that almost every TCP/IP implementation provides

R-Login

Rlogin is from Berkeley Unix and was developed to work between Unix systems only

Secure Shell or SSH

It is a network protocol that allows data to be exchanged using a secure channel between two networked devices

 7. 7. BEST KNOWN SOFTWARES

UltraVNC

File transfer, easy to install and use.

LogMeIn

Possibly the fastest most reliable remote control freeware available

UltraVNC SC

Does not require installation and allows end-user to receive support by clicking and running a single download

 8. 8.

Crossloop

Easy to install and has many features including File Transfer.

PuTTY

It is an application which can act as a client for the SSH, Telnet, rlogin, and raw TCP computing protocols .
