Sofía Guadalupe Sánchez Tipantuña found a baby dove that had survived while its sibling had died. She brought the dove home and cared for it by providing a birdcage, food, and feeding and bathing it multiple times a day for two years. The experience of caring for the dove changed her life and made doves her new favorite pet over dogs and cats due to the positive experience.

3. My Good Experience
When I was 17 years old, I
found a couple of babies doves
in a box, but one of them
already died
That moment, I carried the little
dove home. Then I bought bird
food and birdcage for him.
He had a lot of black and gray
feathers.

4. So, I got up in the
midnight and at 3:00
o´clock early in the
morning for feeding him.
He ate corn, rice, bread
and he drank water.
He also took a shower or
took a bath in a pool or
with soil.

5. I had taken care of
him for two years.
He had changed my
life because I loved
this dove.
My favorite pets are
dogs and cats, but
after that experience
my favorite pet
became doves.
It was the best
experience in my life
