  • Hi Zaki, thanks for commenting. I'm not suggesting an alternative to remarketing here - the piece is an emotional response to how remarketing makes me feel, and it makes me feel cross! I know that it works, (in that some people who receive the ads return to buy) but I really don't like it, and I don't think I'm alone in feeling that way. The alternative I'd propose is to invest in helpful marketing that makes your customer feel good.   • Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Studies highlight that almost 70% of online buyers abandon their shopping carts, and 3/4 of these people are still considering buying the product. So what is your alternative to an Ecommerce business that has experienced significant success with remarketing? Or are you saying that remarketing sucks only on the basis of privacy issues? Just trying to understand what you're suggesting as an alternative and if you feel that companies can recoup lost dollars some other way.
