Wednesday 25 th April 2012 TOPIC TASK TIME Household Detailed Floorwalk Full walk of household, reviewing all sub departments, VM standards and commercial impact. Walk as a customer. Furniture Detailed Floorwalk Full walk of furniture, reviewing all sub departments, VM standards and commercial impact. Walk as a customer. Thursday 26 th April 2012 TOPIC TASK TIME Till Operations How to process household transactions. BOSS How to check stock availability. Billing Process involved in billing a sale. Sunday 29 th April 2012 TOPIC TASK TIME HCDMS Understanding of Homecentre Delivery Management System. Refund and Exchange Understanding of the Homecentre policy, credit notes, refunds, exchanges. Delivery Cancellation Process and documentation involved in this process. Showroom Warehouse Understanding the process, behind the scene. Showroom deliveries, collections. Department Buddy Buddy with a staff member from furniture, observe, assist, interaction with customers. Monday 30 th April 2012 TOPIC TASK TIME Stock Management & Replenishment Aware of SRN, SDN, STS, WRN, WIN. HCISS Homecentre Internal Support System Pricing, process, formats, templates, tags and implementation. Last Piece, Broken Range, Damaged Product Process and procedures in dealing with this product. Review Meeting with line manager to review first week progress. Department Buddy Buddy with a staff member from furniture, observe, assist, interaction with customers.

Jebel Ali Outbound Process Understanding the goods movement from Warehouse to showrooms, customers. Process involved, detailing SRN, SDN, STS, WRN, WIN. Jebel Ali Workshop Operations An understanding of the operation, staffing, systems, process of inventory/stocktake. Damage handling, repairs area and process, insurance claims, PQR processing. Jebel Ali TBC Delivery Schedule Process The entire home delivery process, showroom process through to Warehouse process, documentation for every step, delivery crew suitability, route processing, delivery to home. Product pick and segregation, van bay allocation, loading documentation and verification, pick labels. Showroom delivery allocations and values-How this is calculated and why. Interaction with carpenter to understand varying times based on different roomsets. Jebel Ali Customer Care Process Learning the importance within Homecentre on Customer Care. View the system utilised in showrooms to ensure consistent levels of customer care. Jebel Ali TBC Inbound Operations Review of the entire inbound operation.
