- Finally, In August of this year (only a couple of months ago), we launched the Product Ideas Lab in an effort to provide more transparency between you and our product, design, and engineering teams. Since the Lab was started, we have received 680 ideas with 3,656 votes across 500 participants from 166 organizations. Those numbers are extremely impressive and show the passion our users have for Connections. Looking at the breakdown on the right, a large number of ideas are specific to Communities and its associated applications such as Blogs, Wikis, Forums, and Activities. Doing the math, those represent approximately 36% of the ideas being generated. Trust me, we hear you, and we are taking steps to start fulfilling those ideas, starting with the delivery we made in September.

- Remind customers who have not upgraded to C6 yet that there was a lot of good stuff delivered in Q1 2017.
- Speaking Notes : IBM Connections Touchpoint provides an interactive user experience that can be used for a wide variety of user scenarios, such as profile creation, community and network contact recommendations, organization polling and more. Users are guided through an introduction to IBM Connections, significantly enhancing their initial experience with the platform. Connections Touchpoint walks the users through the process of filling in their profile, choosing people and communities to follow, and reviewing important usage information from their organization. By providing users with personalized and relevant content immediately after their initial sign-in, Touchpoint helps users derive immediate value and your organization gain benefits from improved user adoption.
- Note, Engagement Center is an add-on to Connections that has an additional price.

- Main point here is about install customizer as the best way to modify Connections environment with branding or new functionality. Makes it easier to upgrade, less error-prone than modifying JSPs. Plus we did all the work to have a consistent theme across all of Connections, so changing the colors is dumb-simple. That’s an image of the sketch library file, that designers can use to quickly mockup up screens in the ICS style.
