  6. 6. What is GReAT for?<br />We want to develop a computer therapy.<br />We hope it will help people with aphasia.<br />We hope it will help them use gesture.<br />People can practise at home.<br />We hope the gestures will help people to communicate.<br />

What are we doing?<br />We are working with five people with aphasia<br />These are our aphasia experts<br />They are helping to develop the computer therapy<br />They are giving us advice about what they find easy and difficult <br />They are helping us to think about other people who have had a stroke.<br />
  8. 8. In the Future<br />We want to test the computer therapy.<br />We want to see how it works for people at home.<br />We will do a research study to test this. <br />This will involve other people who have aphasia after a stroke.<br />The research study will begin in May 2011.<br />
