  8. 8. WALT DISNEY AND MICKEY MOUSE  Walt Disney had his own vision to create his own animated advertisement films.  Walt Disney's Mickey Mouse is a series of books collecting the first 25 years of the 45-year span of work by Floyd Gottfredson.
  9. 9. TIMELINE 1979 TO PRESENT 1979 Ed Catmull is recruited by George Lucas to head Lucasfilm's Computer Division, a group charged with developing state-of the-art Computer technology for the film industry. HOW IT ALL STARTED? – THE ‘PIXAR’ ERA
  10. 10. 1991 Disney and Pixar announce an agreement “to make and distribute at least one computer-generated animated movie.” 1995 Toy Story, the world’s 1st computer animated feature film, is released in theatres.
