  1. 1. nd2 Grade News Mrs. Ealy’s Class October 12, 2012 Letter from Mrs. Ealy Dear Parents, Next Week’s Specials Congratulations to Oxbow exceeding our Fun Run goal of $10,000! The final total of money raised for our school was $10,157.82! We are so proud Monday – P.E. (Wear Sneakers) of each and every student! Every little bit of money that was donated is Tuesday – Art and Computers appreciated  The money from the Fun Run will help buy more smart boards Wednesday – Music and P.E. (Wear Sneakers) for our classrooms! Because we reached our goal, each classroom will get an Thursday – Library and Music ice cream treat to celebrate. We are unsure of the exact date yet, but students Friday – Wellness will get to enjoy some ice cream in their classrooms! Thank you again! Bully proofing activities are done throughout the entire school year at Oxbow; however, all this month every Huron Valley School is participating in What We’re Learning About! National Bullying Prevention Month. We are helping students learn to recognize Math – This week we learned about fact families. We cut out fact bullying behaviors, understand what motivates bullies, devise new strategies for triangles at school and at home to practice with, as well as making fact standing up to bullies and realize the need to seek adult help to ensure our family houses.
