The YouTube Partners program gives you an opportunity to share revenue, but traffic must be high to profit. </li></ul><ul><li>  </li></ul><ul><li>Vimeo- Great portfolio option for professional videos like for weddings as well as place for filmmakers to promote their work. </li></ul><ul><li>  </li></ul><ul><li>Blip TV- Like YouTube, there is revenue sharing. you can distribute videos to other channels and social networks. </li></ul><ul><li>  </li></ul><ul><li>TubeMogul- Not a video channel, but like Blip TV, you can distribute content  to other video channels and social networks. </li></ul>

No ability to advertise. </li></ul><ul><li>  </li></ul><ul><li> - Freedom, ability to advertise, boundless themes. You are responsible for hosting and technical problems. </li></ul><ul><li>  </li></ul><ul><li>Tumblr -Free self hosted, limited features, growing popularity. </li></ul><ul><li>  </li></ul><ul><li>Yola/Weebly -Build your own website on free self hosted platforms. Great option if you are not a coder and you need something quick and easy to promote your brand/company.   </li></ul>

When disbursing content, make sure you email your contacts. </li></ul><ul><li>  </li></ul><ul><li>Flyers -Coffee shops are filled with laptop users. Make a flyer with your blog, Twitter, info & place the flyer next to the karaoke night flyer.    </li></ul><ul><li>  </li></ul><ul><li>Word of Mouth - If someone asks what you are up to, tell them about your blog or video channel. That person could be the key to your future. </li></ul><ul><li>  </li></ul><ul><li>Business Cards -Put your Twitter handle, website, blog. etc  on your cards. Vista offers 250 cards for free. </li></ul>

Picnik allows to crop photos, color, sharpen, rotate, re-size and fix the dreaded red-eye. </li></ul><ul><li>  </li></ul><ul><li> -Ability to shorten URL. Great for Twitter's 140 characters.    </li></ul><ul><li>  </li></ul><ul><li>Twuffer -Allows you to schedule your tweets later in the day, week or month. </li></ul><ul><li>  </li></ul><ul><li>Digg/Reddit - Upload blog posts here to increase traffic. </li></ul><ul><li>  </li></ul><ul><li>Metrics - Google Analytics, Sitemeter, IceRocket gives you important data that you can use for business or job interviews. </li></ul>
